I am a dedicated and hardworking individual. I believe that life is all about learning. One of the most influential quotes that I follow in my life is that “It is neither the strongest nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.” - Darwin. Tell me I can’t do something and I'll try even harder to prove you wrong! Like many other students I know, I've travelled a bumpy road to get to where I am today, but those obstacles gave me strength and helped me appreciate the truly important things in life.
The reason I love to take part in hackathons is that the feeling you get after creating something within just a span of 24/36 hours is just truly amazing. The technologies that intrigue me the most are Android development, Deep Learning and Blockchain. Some of my projects include a decentralized web hosting system on top of Ethereum. A system wherein people can share their computer resources in a college environment and which will lead to a scalable hosting system. I believe that hackathons are a great way to bring out the most innovative ideas to reality and to meet some amazing people and build together a solution that could solve a real-world scenario. An app that I created during the GE Precision Health Hack 2018 was one such example wherein a Blind person was supposed to take a photo of his surrounding and the Image would be processed write on the mobile after applying CNN the description of the image would be sent to the user in the form of audio output. Depression analysis was also performed based on audio analysis instead of textual analysis on the context of 2 days of user data (commands that the user used within the app). Hackathon is possibly the best way to drive my idea into reality and to create some life-long memories.
