Hi, this is Pulkit!
I have always had a penchant for solving puzzles, brain teasers and riddles - simply for the orgasmic EUREKA moment. The only condition was that I always needed new and unseen puzzles. This never ending lust for problem solving and the satisfaction that followed after successfully getting the solution is what drove me towards computer science and is what makes me now hop from one hackathon to another. For me the new tech, new APIs, new bugs and all that are simply manifestation of good old puzzles from my childhood with the extra added spice that the problems that are being solved now are real and coming up with a solution for the same might just change the lives of many people.
So, as a student of Computer Science currently in the junio year of my studies, I am trying to master the ins and outs of software development in order to solve more and more of such problems in order to create a visible impact into the lives of people. With more than 5 years of experience in coding in various languages I am consistently trying to improve and hone my programming skills not only by continuously learning about new technologies and keeping myself updated with the latest happenings in the tech world but also by further building upon the knowledge that I have already acquired in these years.
My experiments with Python(not truth, if that's what you expected) have of late introduced me to the world of machine learning and I have been going through all the material that is there on the internet (and also that isn't), like a maniac - reading more and more about the same. The amount of time I am spending on machine learning daily - forgive me for using the cliche - for I truly mean it when I say this that I might just be in love!
Now, I spend the majority of my time brainstorming the various possibilities that this largely untapped field of Computer Science has to offer. I dream big and am committed towards realizing the Turing dream of artificial general intelligence.
