Piyush Gupta

I'm Piyush Gupta, currently a third year student from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. I'm an AI developer and a blockchain enthusiast.

I have worked on computer vision, NLP and data analytics. I have been intern at Mind Mapperz, a growing startup in NLP. I worked on the projects that automates the process of grading subjective type answers with the help of AI.

I am hackathon enthusiast and have been participating in various national and district level hackathons. I have been runner up in Mind the App hackathon (held at IGDTU, Delhi), Cyber Cup hackathon (Amity Universilty, Noida) and Hack over hackathon (BVP, Delhi).
I have developed many personal projects out of my interest like a real time image classifier using tensorflow (wherein I made own image dataset and trained them resulting in pretty good accuracy), hindi bollywood lyrics generator (using RNN and LSTM), Signature recognition (a model which predicts that a signature is genuine or not).

Autism care was my favorite project where we detect the autism in infants by tracking pupil movement and classifying by constructing the scan paths.
Apart from this I am also experienced in OpenCV (worked on a lane detection algorithm for autonomous vehicles) & data analytics (worked on problems like sales, goods prices, Google Play Store data base, suicidal analysis).

I am also an open source enthusiast and active volunteer. Currently I hold the position of Vice chairperson of BVPIEEE computer society and its a great learning curve to have team collaboration.
