I am a Ph.D. scholar nearing the completion of my degree from IIT Delhi, India. I have been working in the blockchain field for the past 6 years. My research is on the layer one scalability and security of PoW Blockchain systems. For more information on my publications and patents please see - https://oviaseshadri.github.io/.
My other projects include "Blockchain like relational database" which I was a part of during my internship at IBM research labs. Here we tried to bring blockchain properties like immutability and decentralization into relational databases. I have also contributed to the Indo-Japanese project for communication in IoT systems where we tried to build a lightweight consensus protocol for IoT systems. I have conducted several blockchain workshops notably one for the Indian police force (CRPF) as part of their network security and cryptography training. I am also a peer reviewer for blockchain sessions for India's flagship network conference COMSNETS. For more information about my interests and pursuits please see - https://www.linkedin.com/in/ovia-seshadri-14b75124/.
I am always excited to contribute and participate in women in tech initiatives. I have been invited to or participated in several such programs like PepsiCo Million Women Mentorship Program, Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing India (GHCI) and IBM women in research program called Maitreyee.
I am just beginning my career and I am confident about staying in the blockchain space. I am fascinated by the potential DLT has in shaping our future and the way we interact. Web3 is the way forward and I want to make my mark here. I know the contacts I make at Unfold and the learning opportunities it will give me will shape my career. I also hope to contribute back into this society and form a lasting bond.
Im working on cryptography, zero knowledge and MPC implementation for multi party transaction signing
