Hi! I am Ishan Rawat, an undergrad at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. I am a community taught developer and a physics enthusiast.
From my childhood, I have always been fascinated with the working of computers, and have found it my hobby to fiddle with them. My passion towards computer science deepened more when I got introduced to the field of software development. Since, then I have been trying to learn as much as possible in this field. I have done a couple of projects in various domains of software development, which gave me a very good idea of stuff like game development, web development, database management, information security, etc.
I am also a member of SDSLabs, a student run campus group which aims to foster software development culture in the college. We have done a multitude of projects, some of which had their reach way beyond the campus.
Under SDSLabs, I worked on a C++ 3D game engine called Rootex which is to be shipped on Windows using DirectX11. I implemented the skeletal animation system of the engine which is used to render animated models in the game.
I regularly take part in hackathons since I feel that hackathons are the best way to learn new stuff in a very short period of time.
Apart from this, I am quite interested in physics and am working to explore fields that are a blend of both physics and computer science.
