I have always been a competitive one. What drives me is the urge to get every bit as close to perfection in whatever I am doing. Being a part of the community that helps shapes the new world has always served as a motivation to me.
I got into programming when I was 12 years old, and since then there has been no turning back. I went on to explore what the field has to offer me, started off with QBasic, and since then I tried leaving no stone unturned. I tried my hands on various programming languages like C, C++, Java, C# and finally Python which I use most extensively today.
The most challenging project I have worked on was an award-winning research project, we proposed a hybrid approach towards learning systems, we incorporated Reinforcement Learning and Imitation Learning, and created a hybrid model which would learn and perform tasks more efficiently and accurately than current existing neural-network architectures. We portrayed our idea using a game in Virtual Reality. One of our aims was to incorporate as many technologies as we could to hide the complexities of the project and help a person understand our proposition in a simple way. While working on the project we encountered various challenges, and we overcame them. Apart from getting to learn and work with various languages and libraries, what my major takeaway from the project was to never give up.
My interest in the field led me to join one of the most prestigious student research labs in India, Next Tech Lab. We have undertaken numerous multi-disciplinary projects both individually and in collaboration. Despite being a Sophomore, I have experience in the field of research.
That is definitely not all, but I will always hustle and ask myself, what's next.
