I am a Junior Year Student at Sathyabama IST currently undertaking my Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering. I am a Google Summer of Code '21 Student at MetaCall and an Intern at Red Hat with the CCS Team. I have been an MLH Fellow for the Fall '2020 Batch, a Former Software Engineering Intern at Qxf2 Services and a Summer Intern at Scholify.
I'm a Software Developer with experience in Development, Analysis and Content Writing with particular expertise in Web, Machine Learning and Cloud Technologies. I am looking for opportunities in Web, Cloud and Community Roles in general with a flair for solving problems as I learn new things.
I'm also a Hackathon Enthusiast and I regularly participate in Hackathon, either as a Participant or as a Mentor. In the past, I have participated and won at Capgemini Codealore (Winner), Hack4Good (Runner Up), Hack Infinity 2.0 (Runner Up) and MLH Fellowship Sprint 0 (Winner) and Sprint 5 (Winner). I have also volunteered as a Mentor at Hacking in India, Delhi Hacks, Dub Hacks and Hack the Mountains.
Beside Development and Hackathons, I constantly work on Open-Source and I have been a Project Administrator, Mentor and a Participation for various Open-Source Initiatives. I am currently serving as a Community Mentor at OpenMined and a FOSS Mentor at Codewayy. In the Open-Source sphere, I have contributed to Moja Global under Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL), Trax and Turbinia under Google, CausalML under Uber to name a few.
Google Summer of Code is a global program focused on bringing more student developers into open source software development. I will be collaborating with the engineers from MetaCall to develop a Jupyter Kernel where MetaCall Core can be loaded and launched through a Jupyter Notebook interface, under the mentorship of Gil Arasa Verge.
➢ Leading the Backend Development Team comprising of 10 developers at UpTone, an audio-focussed personalized social network.
➢ Devised the NoSQL Schema with complex graph relationships and references in MongoDB with Mongoose Object Data Modeler.
➢ Planned and devised the API Schema and the architecture using NodeJS, Express and GridFS BSON Storage engine for multimedia assets.
➢ Working with the DevOps team in developing CI/CD pipelines, hosting the development, staging and production environments using GitHub Actions, with the product hosted on Amazon Web Services.
DeepSource is an automatic Code Review Tool with Static Code Analysis that allows Developers to ship good Code by identifying Issues and fix bug risks, anti-patterns, performance issues, and security flaws on every commit and pull request.
➢ Reviewed issues, bugs and anti-patterns as part of the Developer Outreach efforts.
➢ Pitched in and assisted with the DeepSource integration as a static code analysis tool with various popular open-source projects.
➢ Developed technical content in and around static code analysis with Python and JavaScript.
➢ Developed a user guide for integrating Code Transformers with the DeepSource configuration.
➢ Develop the Developer Outreach Handbook to coordinate efforts within the Developer Outreach Team.
➢ Fixing bugs on the DeepSource Documentation.
Qxf2 provides testing services for startups. The Company uses an Internal Survey Application to track the Company Culture and the Innovation Drive, built using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Flask and Quilt. My primary responsibility was to re-develop the Internal Survey Application.
➢ Re-Developed the Frontend Interface of the Internal Survey Application with ReactJS and Bootstrap.
➢ Re-Developed the Backend Interface of the Internal Survey Application with FastAPI.
➢ Migrated the Database Storage of the Internal Survey Application from Quilt to Neo4j using a Python Pandas Script.
➢ Deploy the Internal Survey Application on an AWS EC2 Instance using an Ubuntu AMI.
➢ Wrote Automation Tests for the Weather Shopper application using Selenium and the Page Object Model Framework.
➢ Collate Python exercises to use with future Qxf2 interns
