Hi! I’m Akash. I am keenly interested in modular blockchains and rollups. I have started studying about zero knowledge proofs and Zk rollups.
On my professional side, I am currently working as a rust developer at a startup building a layer 1 chain aiming to become a Polkadot Parachain. In the past, I’ve also worked as a solidity smart contract developer at a DeFi lending protocol on Polygon.

- Built a zero-interest stablecoin lending protocol, Orum, on the Polygon Matic Network. The DApp is currently live on the Matic Mumbai Testnet.
- Implemented the core smart contracts for functionalities like governance, revenue sharing, borrowing, liquidations and tested the smart contracts for logical (Brownie-eth) and security vulnerabilities (Slither, Echidna).
Laguna Labs - Rust Substrate Developer

- Building Laguna Chain, a substrate-based layer one blockchain with innovative features like transaction scheduling, multilayered fee assets, solidity and Wasm-based smart contracts capability, and DApp-subsidized fuel tanks to make user interaction seamless.
- Implemented the native transaction scheduler feature, EVM RPC server, and multilayered fee assets pipleine. Currently developing the EVM RPC relayer to add support for existing web3/ethers libraries to access Laguna Chain.
