I am Dev Chaurasia, an undergrad TY student at K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering
for B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering. An enthusiast in learning new Web and Application development technologies. Other technologies that fascinate me are Automation, Recognition Systems using Image Processing, ML etc. I like to take "challenges as reponsibilities", be it from learning new things to fixing bugs to delivering a product and I feel this all seems more doable when working in teams where you can share and learn.

If u ask me what tech skills i am good at , then i would definitely say Python, Java (Oh! I love these
two languages), C/C++, PHP, HTML/CSS, Flutter,Django and Dart(intermediate level) and OpenCV (Python). As part of Audit courses offered by my college I have learnt Flutter and Data Science in Python too.

On personal side I have worked on projects like Scraping e-commerce sites for comparing prizes of products in real time using Selenium and Beautiful Soup in Python, Generating automatic CGPI by reading PDF of marks of all students using pandas. As part of mini project I have also worked on a full-fledged GUI Database application in Java using Swing and MYSQL for Hotel Booking System.

I have also done 2 in-house internships in KJSCE namely Traffic Density Detection using OpenCV and GUI Database application using C++(wxWidgets) and MYSQL.

Currently I am interning at SDC-KJSCE (Software Development Cell) for Online IDE
using PHP, HTML/CSS/ JS . Another project that I am currently working on is an Audit/Elective Course portal for my college at SDC-KJSCE. Automating Tasks using Python like Scraping web pages, sending mails,etc. are other complimentary things in my skill set.

The other fields that I have been trying to explore lately is Machine Learning for which I also have an ongoing online course at Coursera. Also as part of Inter-Disciplinary Course in my college I am learning BlockChain technology.

I believe hackathons help me in developing team spirit and critical thinking, learning new technologies and understanding how to solve a problem in the most optimal manner. And most importantly help me understand what my true interests lie in.

An Online IDE which is being developed indigenously for KJSCE at SDC-KJSCE which will support multiple languages such as C, C++, Java and Python. Currently in testing phase, this project may further be expanded for coding assignments and practicals.
