    May 2015 - June 2015

    Thinkread.com

    • Initiated and led the project Thinkread, which aims to be a micro-blogging platform on the lines of Substack
      -Engineered a robust SQL schema anticipating 5000 users in Daily Active Users.
    • Functionalized the backend by building a production-ready, self-documenting GraphQL API that can use data from any source by virtue of the Prisma ORM

    • Built a powerful Node.js CLI that can take in upwards of 5000 wedding photos in batch and automatically sort them into folders based on each unique reference image.
    • This project implemented a SSD (Single Shot Multibox Detector) based on MobileNetV1, to be able to detect faces
    • Exceeded team expectations by reducing face detection & comparison times by 750% (from 30s per face to sub-4 seconds per face) by building Tensorflow from source for the AVX2 architecture.
