Bhagyashree Phadnis

Hey, I'm Bhagyashree Phadnis, a final year Computer Engineering student at K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering. I am a keen learner who has an eye for detail. I love to experiment and try out something new. My interests include web designing, mobile app development and full stack development.

My work experience includes a 45 day long internship at a startup where I worked on mobile applications using Android SDK and Flutter Framework. I've also worked on a web application using PHP and Bootstrap Framework for an in-house college internship.

My previous projects include a java swing based application that converts a colored image to a black and white image, front-end for a quiz website using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, an Online Book Bank which is basically a Book Sale/Rental and Recommendation Web App using PostgreSQL, PHP and Materialize CSS Framework. I have also developed a Pedometer using Flutter Framework which only uses only the in-built pedometer sensor of Android and iOS devices and provides some statistical insights.

In my college, I have taken up two extra credit courses - Basics of Web Programming and Python for Data Science.

I have a flair for creativity, art and literature and have been the Creative Head of the Council for Literary Affairs of my college. I'm an avid reader. I also take keen interest in creative writing and have my own WordPress blog. I am passionate about music. I love to sing and have passed 3 Hindustani Classical Music exams with distinction.

I believe hackathons are a great way to learn new things, to tackle problems in a quick way, challenge and improve my skills as a developer/creator.
