**Do you want to know if your DU or Etisalat connection is as fast as it should be? Check your speeds with our handy internet speed test!
**

Are you worried that your Internet connection isn’t as fast as it should be? Test your Internet speeds using our handy du internet speed test tool! Simply select your location and enter some basic information about your device and we’ll show you the true speed of your DU or Etisalat connection in an instant! No more guessing – just facts!

What this tool tests

Our internet speed test helps determine both if your ISP (internet service provider) is providing a sufficient internet connection, and how well that connectivity performs. We look at 2 things: Download speeds Upload speeds What these do: Speed affects how quickly you can access content on the web, so we expect download speeds and upload speeds to match up. If one of them doesn’t, it means something isn’t working right.

Step 1: What’s my baseline?

When measuring internet speed, it’s important to determine a baseline, so that you have something from which to compare. Go through these steps

Step 2: Did I get better results after an upgrade?

If a quick Internet speed test doesn’t produce better results, it might be time for an upgrade. If that’s the case, check out our partner sites - Yalla Apps (DU) and Masar. Both of these sites offer fantastic deals on upgrades, so there’s no need to miss out on super-fast Internet access just because you can’t afford it at present.

Step 3: Did I get faster data than my plan provides?

Before getting into how much data a site consumes, look at what plan you’re using. If you have an unlimited data plan, then there’s no need to worry about monitoring how much data each website uses. But most of us have plans that place limits on monthly usage, so check whether a site consumes more than its fair share.

Step 4: Is there a problem somewhere in my network?

If you’re experiencing a slow download speed, first check how much bandwidth each of your devices are using. You can do so by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Status and then looking at How much data has been sent/received under Data usage since last full charge. Once you’ve determined which device(s) are using too much bandwidth, try resetting them by turning them off for 10 seconds. This will clear up network congestion and optimize their performance—and yours.

Conclusion – more things to try if the problem isn’t on my end

If none of these solutions have helped your streaming issues, there are other things you can try. One easy thing to do is to restart any devices that may be connecting to your network – like smart TVs, routers, phones, etc. You could also try different servers that may offer less-congested connections.
