Ever since I started coding I have tried my hands on a lot of different programming languages and built over a dozen small applications. By this time, I can confidently say that I have excelled in PHP/Laravel, eventually leading me to become an aspiring web developer.
The challenges faced during development process is what I love. Even though there are some depressing moments when I can’t figure out the process, the feeling after overcoming it is wonderful.
I would say that the most complex project I have worked on is my Final Year Project which I completed with my fellow teammate. The project was titled ‘Machine Vision Based Answer Evaluation’ which required image processing as well as neural network. The application could evaluate various formats of multiple choice questions.
It was definitely a challenging project to work on as we had to build it from scratch. Learning and implementing the algorithms were difficult yet rewarding. Along with the programming skills, working on this project has taught me patience, self-motivation, enduring failure, and most importantly, persistent determination.
I always wanted to participate in a hackathon but never had a chance to. This hackathon would be a huge opportunity to extend my horizon and gain knowledge throughout. I believe that this hackathon would not only increase my technical knowledge but would be a great factor for personal growth.
