Anand Sekar

I have developed a significant interest in the product design during my second year of college. I believe the reason for the growth of interest was due to my creative imagination. Also, I was inspired by the development of designs that are extracted from nature such as bullet trains, velcros, etc. I have worked on projects related to harmonic drives where I tried to design a harmonic drive with helical teeth. I have worked on the design of angle plate jigs and fixtures. Further, I tried to remodel a V6 -Engine by adding cooling tubes. These experiences helped me to gain knowledge of Solidworks and ANSYS. I still got a lot to learn and improve in order to excel in designing products that would benefit society.
