Aman Pandey

I am a Junior Undergraduate at National Institute of Technology, Surat, completing my majors in Civil Engineering.

I am enthusiastic about Computer Technologies and its applications in real-world problem-solving. I am basically a Blockchain Develepor and an Undergraduate Researcher narrowing my field of study to Privacy and Security. I have been a Blockchain instructor at Winter School 2019, organised at NIT Surat. The school had participants from freshman years to postgraduate levels, who were interested to know about the technology.

After being into a position of Undergraduate Research Assistant to Dr Pramod Subramanyan, CSE Dept, IIT Kanpur, my interests shifted drastically from the only Blockchain to its vulnerabilities and its applications in preventing people's information. And mostly how can we make this technology better. Most of the time I worked with OPCODES and flow of Ethereum Smart Contracts and building a tool to fuzz the smart contracts. I worked with Ethereum Blockchain in-depth, and now able to use its very minute details into the DAPPS favour.

In addition to this, I have designed a Public blockchain relay network with better credibility against network attacks, with a French professor, Dr Hakima Chaouchi. I have an accepted paper in an International conference, IEEE BCCA2020.

Me having worked on various Self-projects like "a general-purpose website for hostellites" in the first year of college,, "a neural network to determine damage grade of houses" in initial 2nd year, including the FIRST PRIZE-WINNING PROJECT of 36-hrs ONLINE HACKATHON hosted by RAJASTHAN GOVERNMENT held on 6th July 2018 by creating a Special Three-Point Fund Delivering CRYPTOCURRENCY with my team namely ADIDSHAFTS.

Plus I with my team has participated in the WRC Global hackathon, organised by WORLD BANK WATER, and secured the 2nd Runner up position in it. It is the most complex project until now, in which I worked to develop a foolproof and scalable smart contract to make the industries more accountable for wastewater they are producing. The contract and the design of the solution were widely appreciated by the jury.

I have also worked on creating a special POOLING and DISTRIBUTING funds, contract for an online coding competition and fighting platform dCODERS, one of the greatest and most interesting projects I've worked on.

The projects had very much to learn about including the Intermediate concepts of Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, P2p networking, and most importantly the Team Worked in a very ideal manner possible. plus the perseverance, dedication, and confidence.

I love to solve real-life problems using current technologies and working daily on a new idea is what drives me towards innovation. I love to apply maths and algorithms to generalise the problem and solve them. Adding to this, I am currently leading a technical student chapter, Cutting Edge Visionaries, at NIT Surat, which comes out to be one of the best technical student chapters.
