Akshay Khatter

I am a quality-oriented, dedicated college student (8.78 GPA, Computer Science Engineering) currently attending Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, GGSIPU New Delhi. During the course of my academic career, I had the privilege of working for IIM, Lucknow in a Research Intern role, where I learned valuable professional skills such as R programming, data visualisation, building regression models and analyzing Large data sets. Also I have taken a Big Data Analytics course from Techexperia(HPE partnered) in which I learnt to manipulate Big data using Hadoop and tools like MapReduce, Hive, Pig. I have been actively participating in organizing events like Hackathons, Annual college fest, and Hult prize at my Campus. Such opportunities have helped me in various aspects like improving on communication skills, developing a significant network, pitching a product, negotiating, and empathizing with the target audience.

I love to work on Solutions to Real life problems which we can make with the use of tech to simplify or automate our problems solving in such a manner that seems exciting.

I have faced various Complex subproblems in projects such as, predicting mising values (not simply imputing), trying to find the Order of an ARIMA forecast model which is better than what we get from auto.arima function, and many more.

Getting a chance to be a part of this Hack will give me a chance to work on various challenges which are beyond the scope of my formal education curriculum.
