Hello, I am a computer enthusiast interested in technology. I am good at problem-solving and working on unique solutions.
Optimisation is what drives me everyday to find new and better techniques of solving my problems. I am motivated by solving complex technical challenges. I love collaborating and accomplishing big things as a part of a team, and that’s what drives me to do my best each day. I like challenging myself to improve myself. That's the main reason why I started competitive programming. At first it was like a sport but then I realised that I was competing against myself.

The most complex project that I worked on was at the last Hackathon, CodeUtsava 3.0 at NIT Raipur and we won the 3rd prize overall. We made a product to help people in depression using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We used the Alexa Skills Kit and integrated it with a machine learning algorithm which gets triggered when the user is depressed. Alexa would then engage the user in a conversation and will try to sooth his/her mood. In extreme cases Alexa can send SOS messages to the person's relatives.
The most complex project that I have ever worked on was last October in 2018 when we were selected for the 'Hack-a-bit' hackathon organised by Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. We built a smaller and affordable version of the Amazon Go. We had to install the Raspberry Pi along with the sensors(RFID) into the shopping cart and then link it with the mobile application without the customer experiencing any kind of complication in shopping. The aim of this project was to demolish the long queues people find themselves in at the shopping mall waiting for the billing. So we decided to automate the process which was guaranteed to save a lot of time.

The reason we chose a hardware project for the hackathon was not because we were already experienced in hardware, but because we were not. We wanted to experiment and learn about hardware equipments like the raspberry pi, the RFID scanners and how to program then, etc. During this amazing experience, I learned a lot of things, the most important of them being working as a team. It was exciting and really helpful most of the times. Working in a team allows the flow of variations in ideas. A team allows you to see the problem from a different perpective.

I am interested in machine learning and developing applications with the help of machine learning that will aim to help in accomplishing, identifying and solving problems which could save human lives or make it better. I am also interested in developing applications using blockchain. I the spirit of this, I took part in iHack, a hackathon organised by IIT Bombay, in the ethereum track. We developed an application which aimed at putting the entire e-tendering process on blockchain to encourage and enable transparency and efficiency.

I want the organizers to know that I am ready for any and all challenges during the hackathon. I urge the selectors to go through my website and check out the projects and skills. You can also recommend suggestions which would help me along the journey to accomplishing my goal. Also, charged from my experience in my last hackathon, I am thrilled and eager to change my ideas into reality now that I have knowledge of newer technologies. I want to meet other technology enthusiasts and learn from their experience and knowledge.
