Yogendra Yatnalkar

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from University of Mumbai. My interest lies in software development with Python as preferred coding language. In my curricular Python course, I was able to achieve 98% in the graded exam. I am enthralled by the field of Computer Vision, Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning. I have successfully completed a computer vision internship at BUDSTA Analytics and have hands-on experience of working with OpenCV framework and Numba library.
Hackathons are important for skill development and I love participating in them. I have lead a team in Smart India Hackathon which is the worlds largest hackathon. My team was able to score the 2nd rank for the selected problem statement. During SIH we built an ERP system for P.D Hinduja Research Center. Technologies used were Front-end : HTML, CSS, Vue.js, Jquery, Back-end : PHP with MVC Architecture, Oracle SQL DB and Firebase storage, document-store DB and authentication.
My final year project is related to Diabetic Retinopathy where I with my team propose to build a CNN based classifier to detect if the patient is suffering from the above disease using fundus images. Technologies used : OpenCV,Keras with Tensorflow backend, AWS for cloud hosting and Django for the api access.
I have also participated in TSEC hackathon with a team of 4 where we were able to build a Semantic Search System using NLP within 24 hours.
