My name is Stephen, and I majored in Animal Production Technology while in university until I switched tracks to learn computer programming on my own. I have been developing software since 2021 and recently got into Solidity in late 2022.
My go-to language at any time is JavaScript, which is why I enjoy working on both the backend and frontend. I have also enjoyed my time in Solidity, learning new things, security measures, gas optimization techniques, etc. over the past few months.
I have a passion for building things that work and make life easier. My current dream projects include an onChain electioneering process that I intend to use to change the narrative of elections in Nigeria, making it trustless, easy to use, and ensuring that every Nigerian performs their civic duty. Additionally, I am working on building advanced ATM software and an application that reduces the time you spend waiting to withdraw by letting you interact with the app before you get to the ATM stand to withdraw.
My driving force has always been improvement and adaptability. I understand the scope of things in my country, and I leveraged that to make a decisive career move, which has been positive so far. I would also like to add that one of my motivations is my desire for a comfortable life for my family and myself, which is why I'm focused on building products that sell to users.
So far, I have built a Telegram bot using Python, a few websites written in HTML, CSS, React, and Next.js. I have also written quite a lot of smart contract code for protocols such as NFT marketplace (with extensive support for advanced features such as English and Dutch Auction, Collection offers, Cart (recreating the Web2 experience), Instant sale, etc.), NFT cross-chain bridge, ERC20 and ERC721 tokens launchpad, betting protocol, and a peer-to-peer NFT lending protocol. I am currently working on an advanced NFT lending protocol that utilizes leverage.
I have also built Subgraphs on TheGraph network, built a few Dapps to host some of my work, and I am also working on my first mobile app. Currently, I am learning GoLang, Rust, and advanced Python.
Thanks.
