I, Shubham Kumar, an undergraduate student at Netaji Subhash University of Technology (formerly NSIT) pursing Engineering in Information Technology (network and security).

I am a Blockchain researcher and developer specializing in zk-SNARKs and blockchain security. Currently, I hold the position of Researcher Intern at Emurgo, the founding entity of Cardano. Prior to this, I gained valuable experience as a blockchain developer intern at Nethermind. My professional journey also includes collaborations with various startups in India such as EJY Health, WEU Foundation, and the esteemed company 5irechain.

My technical expertise encompasses the use of Rust and Solidity for smart contracts, Noir for zk-SNARK development, and proficiency in TypeScript and Go lang as well. I am adept at working with frameworks like React and utilize tools such as Hardhat for development purposes.

  • Nethermind - CRYPTOGRAPHY RESEARCH INTERN
    July 2023 - Present

    **Project 1‑ Working on Libre Privacy Research project (private transaction using
    zk).
    **Task 1: Conducted research on various Domain‑Specific languages for zk
    proofs.
    Task2: Implementatin of a Merkle tree and perform research on Second
    Pre‑image attacks on Merkle Trees.
    Task 3: Developed a wrapper contract to verify, and parse the public inputs
    that import verifiers for the different modules in circuits

    • Project 2‑ Building virtual machine for Cairo using go language
    Task 1: Created various test cases in Go language

    Task 1: Explored static and dynamic NFTs, assessed the gaming market for
