Sasandara Dilmina

Hey, my name is Sasandara Dilmina. I'm from Sri Lanka and I'm 15 years old. I'm a student, game developer & programmer. Mainly I work in the game development industry and I have lots of experience in other computer programming-related fields such as software development, web development, cloud computing, bot development, android app development, Linux/Unix, and many more. I started my first startup company, "GenixPlay Studios" in 2022 at the age of 14 and I got a partnership with a German web hosting company called "Zap Hosting". My first ever commercial-ready game "The Meteorite" was released in February 2022 for PC on the Microsoft Store and it got more than 50 thousand downloads in the first 5 months. I have participated in a TV show from ITN called "Gadget Mania" because of the game "The Meteorite". My games inspired so many popular YouTubers and Influencers and they made videos and hosted live streams about them. on this basics, I now have lots of supportive Influencers and Youtubers from Sri Lanka and other countries. Recently I developed a web application to learn about BioChemistry using Augmented Reality (AR) and won the 2nd overall ranking at the Young Computer Scientist (YCS) competition 2022 that was held by the Ministry of Education, FITIS, and the UCSC. Because of that ranking, I got the chance to represent Sri Lanka at the international competition called The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA) held in Pakistan in December 2022.
