Priyesh Srivastava

For the past 2 years, I've been developing applications for the web and android platforms. I want to do this for a living and love what I do as every day there is something new and exciting to learn.

I spend a lot of time learning emerging technologies and actively figuring out venues that would help me integrate this cutting-edge technology into consumer and enterprise products.

In my spare time, the development community is a big part of my life. Whether teaching code to juniors at a college, managing online programming groups and blogs or attending a conference, I find keeping involved helps me stay up to date.

Experience

  • Sensum Financial - Backend Developer
    August 2018 - January 2019

Sensum Research aimed at democratizing algorithmic trading by offering Trade Positions as a service. I was the lead technical developer on the startup's first technical product AlgoSim which was a backtesting platform for quantitative finance strategies, this allowed various programmers, finance people, mathematicians, and statisticians to use their existing knowledge bases to prepare strategies which would then undergo extensive testing. Post-testing these strategies would be released on Sensum's Algorithmic marketplace for retail traders to use and give away a portion to the people making the strategies.

  • Remedley - Full Stack Developer
    January 2019 - May 2019

Remedley, is a startup that aims to provide logistics support to cancer patients. They wanted to build a mobile app to increase their customer channels. I was the Back end Developer for the company's mobile app where I setup their REST-based back end framework. I also wrote a lot of custom code from scratch where I built-in extra functionalities for data protection and selective data access for multiple parties. This work was done under the guidance of BITS Goa, Professor Mridula Goel.

  • Numancia Aerospace Pvt. Ltd.(Pixxel) - Software Developer
    May 2019 - July 2019

Pixxel is a space-tech and data analysis startup that was started by BITS Pilani Alumni. As a software developer at Pixxel, my task was to build a version control system for roads for their clients. This would have the capacity to compile massive-amounts of high-quality images from multiple sources, run an image segmentation model on it to extract a road network as a graph with various extra parameters such as road width, road type and so on for authorities to carry out surveillance and maintenance tasks
