I am interested in robotics, embedded systems and electric drives. The embedded system and robotics world fascinates me.The major project which developed and fascinated my interest towards robotics and embedded system was " The Indian Rover Challenge 2019". The ROS(robot operating system) was used by us in making the project.The project helped me built the basics of robotics and it's application.It also helped me in learning embedded system and also about the hardware. Also I learned about various sensors and it's interfacing and also about the basic knowledge of Mars as the competition was about to create a prototype of Mars rover. The various types of system and microcontroller were used by us ,by which I learned about the microcontrollers. Also I learned about the interfacing of ps2 controller and it's application. I learnt about ps2 controller and it's libraries in detail. As communication used was wireless ,so communication part of various system was also learnt by us. Wireless communication was used by us . The communication module used was RS832 and TS832. Also I learnt about the raspberry Pi and it's application.Raspberry pi was used for driving the bot.The manuplator was made using linear actuators which uses inverse kinematics. Also for navigation GPS and IMU was used for driving bot autonomously. So I learnt about the GPS module and how it works in detail. The applications like gazebo and rviz in ros was used for visualisation and simulation. Also one of the application of ros that is rqt was used for making gui. For driving , differential drive was used. For object detection ,image processing was used. This all developed my interest in robotics and embedded system. As ros works on ubuntu, therefore we learnt and worked on ubuntu. I learnt how to take GPS data and convert into latitude and longitude format in detail. Also I learnt how to IMU data and drive bot autonomously. firstly I studied in detail about the GPS and IMU and then I learnt how to apply them for driving the bot. This all developed my interest. Then as ROS was a new topic and new field ,firstly I learnt about the basics of ros and how to start it and apply it .For this firstly I learnt about the Ubuntu and then about the ros. ROS is very interesting topic which makes robotics very easy. Everything from designing to driving of robot is made very esay using ROS. Also I learnt about the Arduino and it's interfacing. Also I learnt how to use Arduino and pi in ROS. raspberry Pi was used for wireless communication. Raspberry Pi was also in learnt in detail by me. Firstly I learnt about the raspberry Pi and then about its interfacing with various controllers. For this I learnt various communication protocols like SPI , I2C and UART. This developed my interest in communication. The various communication protocols has its varoue applications as well as various advantages and disadvantages. Then when and where to apply which communication protocols . Every communication protocol was used by me and learnt by me. Along with this hardware was also one of the important part. Firstly I learnt about the designing of hardware. For this I learnt and practiced softwares like diptrace and proteus. I made basic PCB design using various components. Hardware designing taught me about the various electronics components and it's applications in hardware. Also I learnt about various protection circuit and why are they necessary for hardware designing. Various protection circuits like voltage protection, current protection and reverse voltage protection circuit was learnt by me. Also various components like battery level indicator , fuse bulb was used by us. Hardware designing was also one of the important part of robotics . Also I learnt how to integrate Google and ROS. For navigation of GPS ,we used Google maps for location detection and to navigate our robot that is rover. Also I learnt little about kalman filters and it's application in ROS. Kalman filter is very interesting topic which makes our task easy. The learning of ROS taught us how to use and apply robots . It also taught us how we can use various technologies about robotics and to make our robot work easily and efficiently. Also I learnt about the link between matlab and ROS. For this basics of matlab was learnt by me. Matlab also has its application in ROS. Therefore firstly I learnt about the basics of matlab . Matlab is good platform for simulation. Then I learnt about the link between ROS and matlab. The I learnt about its application. For driving purpose we various types of motor and motor driver. The motor driver used by us was Hercules and cytron. So I learnt about the motor driver and then about its application. We used servo and Johnson motor .For video streaming we have used cameras and kinect sensor. For this I learnt about the video streaming . Then how to decrease the lag we get while video streaming. For this various softwares were used by us. This all was learnt in robotics.
