Manav Darji

Hello, friend 👋! My name is Manav. I work as a Blockchain Engineer at Polygon (Previously Matic Network) 🚀.

I've been into the blockchain domain since quite a long time and I find it really interesting, technically challenging, and fun to work and innovate. Devfolio has been of immense help to me to grow in this journey with it's hackathons and Ethereum India Fellowship of which I was a part of in Jan'2022. I still love taking part in hackathons and building/learning new things for public good.

I am currently having a great time working with the core protocol team at Polygon (thankful to the fellowship) and am involved in R&D tasks for the PoS chain. Moreover, I am also involved in exploring some research projects cross-team. I am also part of the recent cohort of the ethereum protocol fellowship where I am working on Proposer builder separation with Prysm team.

I also have inclination towards research, which led me to give a talk on Casper (Ethereum 2.0's consensus mechanism) at Web3 Conference, Goa 2022 and on Verkle trees in 2023.

    Responsible for developing efficient chat bot flows for different mediums such as web, whatsapp, google home and alexa using the EasyChat Console and integrating API's for different banking and financial firms.

  • Huddle 01 - Software Engineer
    June 2021 - August 2021

    Huddle 01 is a decentralized video conferencing solution. Worked on implementation of LastN (A relevance based selective video forwarding algorithm) for server level optimisation for forwarding video streams to peers based on their activity. Contributed in development of internal api's and web based sdk (in JS) using AWS suite.

    Quicko is a platform that simplifies tax filing for businesses and individuals. Contributed to building APIs, Clients, and workflows for Sandbox, a full-stack tax compliance API platform for FinTechs, E-Commerce, HRMS & more.

  • Polygon - Blockchain Engineer
    September 2021 - Present

    Part of the core protocol team, working on the PoS client (bor and heimdall). Working on R&D of multiple tasks leading to client stability, optimization and addition of new features. Also, involved in exploring research problems cross-teams.
