Yash Vadi

I am a pre-final year(3rd year) undergraduate student pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Surat, India. I have a deep interest in Web development, Deep Learning, Machine learning, and Computer Vision. I have also made some projects which involve Node.js, HTML, CSS, Express.JS and Google cloud api.
Previously, I carried out research project work under Dr. Anil Kumar, Head PRSD & Scientist/Engineer- SG, IIRS (ISRO). The title of the project was, “Object detection in Satellite images using Single-Shot-Detection technique and Classification using Fuzzy based modified possibilistic c-means”. Utilized SSD model architecture with various image augmentation techniques to perform detection in High radiometric resolution remote sensing dataset. Performed Pixelwise soft classification on the detection from single-shot-detector by implementing MPCM fuzzy algorithm to calculate membership value of each class for each pixel. This can be used in identifying the regions and infrastructure on the satellite imaginary data. During my research work, I built and trained the entire neural network from scratch on Tensorflow and Python.
I have also participated in many Kaggle competitions and won a Silver medal in the 'RSNA-MICCAI Brain Tumor Radiogenomic Classification' competition.
