Learning and developing new things interest me. The process of learning, contributing and creating something new and useful drives me. I feel hackathons provide a great platform for the above same.
I have worked on projects in the domain of Android App Development and Firebase, Web Development and Blockchain, some of these projects being built during hackathons.
Decibel:
Real time noise measurement and reporting system built as an android application which uses mobile as a sensor. Decibel helps its users to record the noise to measure the db levels. Exceeding db levels will be reported to the concerned authorities who can help to curb it. The android application was built using android studio, storage done using cloud MQTT and processing of data and sending alerts using Firebase.
Legs-Miserable:
Progressive Web App to motivate people to participate and complete a marathon by providing them incentives if they successfully complete it. PWA as the frontend, from where the user can explore marathons and blockchain as backend. All the participants will pool the tokens before the marathon starts and once the marathon ends, the total pooled tokens will be divided accordingly and rewarded back only to the participants who have successfully completed the marathon.
Blockchain based E-Voting System:
DAPP which automates and decentralizes the voting system. The main purpose of which is to turn the voting experience into a more secure, simple and
hassle-free endeavor. Ethereum Blockchain is used as a platform for deploying the smart contract containing the
logic of E-Voting. The tech stack used is:
Network-Maps:
An android application that helps to map real time cellular signal strength values (in decibel) to the corresponding location and the information is displayed on the google map. The application was built using android studio and real-time database of Firebase for efficient data collection and quick information dispatch.
Safe City:
System for collection of data for Potholes detection and Noise and Illuminance level calculation through a smartphone which is then processed. Collect data using the accelerometer and gyroscope of a smartphone. Detection of a pothole will be done on the basis of delay with respect to the average time and sensor data (jerks/unintentional movement). The smartphone microphone will be used to collect the data for the Db levels. Use the digital camera of a smartphone along with noting the geo-location and time of the image clicking. The processing of the image will include evaluating the luminance of a picture. In case of values crossing the threshold limits, alerts will be sent to authorities and shown on the map.
Talk-Short:
Record conversations using the application and have them stored in a text format for future reference and recollecting the small details which we could have forgotten. The text can also be summarized which saves reading time and gives a concise gist of the information.
Hospital Management System:
Hospital Website developed using PHP and MySQL for the automation of all the hospital related processes. This includes appointment booking, scheduling patients, displaying patient information to respective doctor, storing data related to patient history and test results.
The internship done was in-house, related to Cyber Security and Web Application Security. This internship involved studying various web application vulnerabilities, their mitigation strategies, creating a web application and applying these mitigation strategies to secure the web application.
The tools and technologies used were HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Apache2 , MySQL database.
Worked in the domain of Android App Development. Member of the Android UI team for creating an app for the startup Radness Tech.
