Hi! I’m Ayushi Gupta, a 20 yr old Industrial Designer who loves to learn and explore new things.
I like to create experiences through products. I create with and for people. For me, the most important part of the process is the user. I want to create experiences for them even through the simplest of products. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Design from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Management, Jabalpur. I have done various projects related to design which draw from areas like Communication design, Workspace design, User Experience design, Furniture design, Stationary design, Interface design, White goods design, Packaging design and Kitchenware design.
I take keen interest in the immersive design process and enjoy working according to design thinking methods.
My team recently won the "Winning Solution" for our project, Rail Saarthi. It was a Service Design and User Experience project in which I contributed as the Industrial Designer, User Experience Designer and Design Researcher. The project was focused on improving safety in Indian railway stations in the current Covid and post-COVID scenario.
I also have one of my projects on a "Frugal Washing Solution" in the process of patenting, which focuses on making automating washing more accessible, convenient and effective for users. The project was done in a team wherein I contributed as the Industrial Designer and UX Designer.
Apart from design, I also take particular interest in Music. I have been playing the keyboard for over 9 years and recently started playing the guitar. Apart from these, I can also play the Ukulele, the Bass Guitar and the Kalimba. I am learning the violin and the viola and also practice Singing.
