I'm Akash, currently pursuing a B.Tech in Information Technology from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. I have a strong foundation in programming, particularly in Java, and I'm skilled in using tools like Git and Visual Studio Code.
One of the interesting projects I've worked on is NaviStick, a smart cane designed for visually impaired individuals. It uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles and provides feedback through vibrations and audio alerts, helping users navigate safely.
Another notable project is a Task Management System, where I used React, Express, and MongoDB to build a web app that facilitates task assignment and tracking within teams. This project allows admins to assign tasks to employees, set deadlines, and update task details, while employees can monitor their progress via personalized dashboards.
I'm passionate about technology-driven problem-solving, which is why hackathons like PEC Hackathon attract me. It's a platform to apply my skills, learn new things, and collaborate with like-minded individuals, pushing boundaries in innovative environments.
