I Am Aadhi Aadhavan from VIT vellore My career in robotics and innovating spans an astounding 9 years. It first started with the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) were we bagged the first in regionals and were selected to the nationals for making an maze solver with an integrated colour coder to solve a unique task, given in the spot. The unique task provided, was "industrial damage checking". Further we were featured in many regional magazines. I continued the streak by winning the Hindu young robotics challenge, where I made a underwater drone, that can search for missing planes, with their blackboxes. Then came a national robotics challenge organised by IITM, where we bagged the national silver medal, and was appreciated by the CEO of cognizant for our innovative use of differential mechanism for driving a mars rover over harsh terrain. After coming to VIT, I got selected in IEEE, RoboVITics, and Pravega Racing. But I chose to continue only in Robovitics as electronics and communication has more scope in robotics. I am in the official Robowars team of RoboVITics (ORCUS) where we have built battle robots in 60, 30 and 15 Kg categories. Me and my team has made a text to braille converter, a 3D mapping drone, and a glove which guides the blind. Ongoing projects include an electric skateboard and a vertical take off rocket
