  2. Disabled Voters & Electronic Voting Machines
  3. Voter Verified Paper Audit Trails
  4. Accuracy in Capturing Voters' Intent
  5. Political Ties of Manufacturers
  6. Secure Storage of Votes
  7. Malicious Software Programming
  8. Physical Security of Machines
  9. Susceptibility to Fraud
  10. Federal Legislation

As proud citizens of this glorious nation, we have also kept in mind the issues that are faced by the voters on the voting day.

Challenges we ran into

Codebreak was our very first hackathon, and indeed it was challenging and intuitive at the same time. Stressed days and sleepless nights were just the beginning of an amazing journey.

  1. Visualization of the System - It took us almost 3 days just to get the framework ready on the paper.

  2. No access to the UIDAI database of the government - We had to alter lots of parameters and that just contributed to the remaining 20hrs that were left to code the entire project from scratch.

  3. Solidity is really solid - We attempted to implement ethereum in our project. We had 0 knowledge about the domain, so had to learn an entire new language from the scratch up.

  4. Implementing the project on the ethereum network - though it was not entirely successful, but we did manage to create a strong contract for building the base of the ethereum chain.
